The Item Card
One record. Everything about a firearm.
The item card is a generated image file built from the data already stored in your collection. Every firearm you track in Marksman's Cache can produce one on demand, no extra input required.
The card pulls directly from your existing records: name, caliber, action type, barrel length, date acquired, rounds fired, current value, attached accessories, and a custom note field. Serial number is included only if you choose to add it.
Every field is toggled individually. Before generating, you choose exactly which fields are on and which are off. What ends up on the image is entirely up to you.
Once generated, the image is yours. Take it wherever you want. The app is not involved in how or where you use it.

Shareable Cards
Share what you want.
Keep the rest private.
Any firearm in your collection can generate a shareable summary card. You decide what goes on it. Your broader collection, storage locations, and personal records stay on your device.
Share a Loadout
Generate a card for a specific build and hand it off to a friend, a training partner, or anyone who wants to see exactly how you have that firearm configured.
The image file goes wherever you send it. Text it, email it, drop it in a group chat.
Send to a Gunsmith
Give your gunsmith everything they need upfront: make, model, caliber, action type, barrel length, current accessories, and service history, all in a single image before they ever touch the gun.
No back-and-forth. No missing details. Work gets quoted and scheduled accurately.
Attach to a Listing
Post the item card image wherever you choose to list the firearm. Buyers see the full spec sheet, round count, and condition history without you having to type it out or answer the same questions twice.

You control what shares.
A shareable card contains only the fields you choose to include. Your serial number, storage location, documents, and purchase price never appear in a shared card unless you explicitly add them.
Your collection stays private.
Sharing a card for one firearm does not expose the rest of your inventory. Each card is generated independently, with no links back to your collection or account.
No cloud required.
Cards are generated locally on your device. Marksman's Cache does not upload your data to produce a shareable output. You decide how and where a card gets shared after it is generated.
